I'm a bookworm, hiker, warrior and tyrant. I read all genres of romance. When not reading, you can find me engaged in general acts of mischief, trolling museums and daydreaming.

You know that saying that goes "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"?
That's me with Kristen Ashley books. I'm nuts.
I really liked the first couple of ones I read. Then they started turning into what felt like the same shit over and over again. Characters cut from the same mold. Guys saying "yeah" at the end of sentences. Mainly after "you feel me?" Yeah?
And I kept occasionally buying high rated ones thinking "THIS time, it will be different."
Not so.
And I really bonked myself in the forehead with this one after the umpteenth time reading Tack talk about Tyra's greedy pussy. You feel me? Yeah?
DNF at 50%.
I know I'm in the minority here. But I guess as old as I am, I'm still a bit of a rebel. Or I'm just insane.
Haven't cried over a book in awhile. This goes on my favorites list. Although it was excellent, I can't recall loathing another character more than I do Dimitri Chernenko.
Found myself skimming through the second half. I know I'm not the popular opinion when it comes to my rating. However, a lot of the characters in the books I've read by this author are all starting to seem the same. I wish I had counted the amount of f-bombs dropped. Might have been more entertaining.
Almost a dnf. Alot of childishness that I couldn't get into. Ended up skimming through the second half.
Huh. This book has some great reviews and in one regard I agree with them when the fact that the tale was "sweet" is pretty accurate. I found it to be boring, too wordy (my reading pet peeve) and I found the sweetness overdone.
Man, oh man, how many times can people "damn" each other? Damn you! Damn you all! Damn it all to hell! Oh, and there is also the thinking of damning someone as in "Damn you!
Damn. :-)
